Margaret Donnan – Director
Margaret is a strategic Board Chair, Independent Director and Non-Executive Director, with extensive experience of working with state and federal government, commercial and not for profit boards. She has significant governance, public policy, stakeholder, risk management and health, safety and environmental experience. Margaret currently chairs two global safety boards focused on preventing major accidents, is on a Victorian government board focussed on waste management and resource recovery, and chairs the audit and risk committee of a federal regulator.
Margaret has a strong reputation as a leader in both government and industry. As a state government regulator, she led the development of Australia’s first major hazard regulatory regime and established new laws and a new regulator to enhance major accident prevention and control, and as Chief Executive PACIA, representing Australia’s chemical industry, she worked with industry, governments, and community to ensure safe and sustainable management of chemicals throughout the supply chain.
