Experienced government Policy Director with a demonstrated history in development of waste management and resource recovery policy and legislation.
Achievements include development, and introduction, of Queensland’s first dedicated waste reduction and recycling legislative framework, including a waste disposal levy in 2011 and Queensland’s lightweight plastic shopping bag ban and container refund scheme in 2018.
Strong community and stakeholder engagement skills and experience, including high-level negotiations and consultation.
